Cap, Beanie or Fedora?

I disappeared, I know.

Apologies, but the past 3 months have been pretty hectic.

I have finally found a job! Then a second one…

Juggling more than one job can be quite challenging. The first few weeks have been super tough, because I literally had to reschedule my whole life.

I head out at 8.30ish every morning and I never get back before 10 at night, meaning I need to organise every single minute of my day.

Having little, or no spare time at all definitely makes you reconsider all of your priorities.

Should I have a proper breakfast or get 30 minutes of extra sleep? Should I go grocery shopping and cook some dinner or just shower and head to bed sans food? Coffee with a friend or laundry duties?

Having multiple jobs does not mean you can’t have a life, but you certainly need to make more of an effort to find some time for yourself and your loved ones.

It took me a while to adjust to my new routine, breakdown included, but now it seems I have found some sort of a balance.

The good bit is that I absolutely love each one of my jobs and I am extremely grateful for this.

Some things I learnt on the way:

It is ok to say no sometimes

Floors will not get mad at you if you vacuum them tomorrow instead of today

Looking fresh at 9am is not easy, but it is totally doable

Big home cooked dinner tonight = gourmet lunch tomorrow

Sometimes the tube is a necessary evil

Dry shampoo is one of the best inventions ever, together with leave-in conditioner

A 3pm lunch will not feel so unbearable if you had a proper breakfast

Excellent time management skills are no longer just a thing you put on your CV

Always carry some healthy snacks with you. You never know when your next meal will be

Getting enough sleep is important, but sleeping well is crucial

Wearing more than one hat will help you realise which one suits you better

W-A-T-E-R. Plenty of it. Always

Your BGGG xx

hilarious, and so true glad to see that you have joined the world of infinite compromise. Remember reality is only perception off you sell it, they will think you live your life like Audrey Hepburn. You rock!!!
