A couple of months ago I had the chance to attend the press launch for the new Weleda Baby Derma White Mallow range, which includes Body Lotion, Face Cream and Nappy Change Cream.
The new line has been five years in the making and it is 100% natural and fragrance free. The lead plant is organic White Mallow, which, due to its soothing and calming properties, it is highly recommended for babies with hyper-sensitive and dry skin. The active ingredients have been carefully chosen to help relieve the itching and irritation of baby eczema, a skin condition that tends to develop in early childhood, usually before the age of 6 months.
I must admit I did not know much about eczema, but thankfully, Dr. Jennifer Lenhart, a passionate and experienced paediatrician, was there to tell us everything we needed to know about it.

This lightweight lotion is 95% organic. The extracts of White Mallow and pansy soothe skin, while the coconut oil and sesame oil provide intensive moisturisation. Like the White Mallow Body Lotion, it is quickly absorbed and it soothes irritation. Noa blatantly admitted that she was born with flawless skin, but she found living in London quite challenging. Pollution, crazy weather…things that just did not exist in that cosy place she used to call home before making this life changing move to the Big Smoke. She said that the White Mallow Face Cream is definitely a must-have for all the girls, and boys of course, who move out of Cosy Town.
White Mallow Nappy Change Cream
Noa said nappies are not fun, but as she does not have much of a choice at the moment, she will just have to deal with them. She said she was deeply impressed with this nappy change cream.
